Software Developer Team Lead IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people worldwide, is seeking a Software Developer Team Lead with a passion for technology and education. As part of the Integrations team, you will lead engineering efforts to design and develop tools and systems that simplify the integration of IXL with schools and districts, helping to work seamlessly with the technology ecosystems of our customers. This is a fulltime position in our Toronto, Ontario office. The work schedule is MondayFriday in the office with the option to work from home one day per week. What You''''ll Be Doing Lead engineering efforts, which includes planning projects, developing estimates, assigning work, and tracking status Drive the development process for the team, including designing, coding, documenting, testing, debugging, and tuning Collaborate and communicate clearly across multiple development teams Work crossfunctionally with product managers, designers, and QA to maintain and exceed product usability and quality standards Provide excellent project management direction and motivation to the team Thrive in a fastpaced and dynamic work environment What We''''re Looking For Bachelor''''s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related discipline Excellent programming skills in Java or another objectoriented language PostgreSQL, SQL, and data architecture experience is a plus Strong communication and leadership skills Strong organizational and timemanagement skills Strong analyticalreasoning and problemsolving skills Passion for improving education through technology About IXL Learning IXL Learning is the countrys largest EdTech company.
