We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead operations within a high-precision, multi-shift machining environment. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on building strong teams, improving processes, and ensuring that products are delivered on time, on budget, and to exacting quality standards. The Manufacturing Manager will oversee daily production activities, ensure compliance with safety and quality practices, and drive continuous improvement across the operation. Responsibilities Lead production planning and scheduling to meet customer delivery commitments. Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant performance. Manage staffing levels, shift assignments, training schedules, and vacation planning. Review key performance indicators and implement action plans to improve results. Partner with quality, engineering, and production control teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow. Maintain and update skills matrices; ensure effective onboarding and ongoing training for team members. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including lean practices and productivity enhancements. Support accurate timekeeping, attendance, and other administrative duties related to workforce management. Requirements Minimum five years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably with CNC machining exposure. Strong understanding of production scheduling, workflow optimization, and shop-floor operations. Demonstrated experience managing teams and fostering a high-performance culture. Working knowledge of quality and compliance standards (e.g., ISO-based systems). Effective communication and conflict-resolution skills. Technical aptitude with machining processes and measurement tools. Proven ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
