Manager, Assurance Professional Standards - Technical Services Join MNP as a Manager in the Assurance Professional Standards - Technical Services team. You will be a trusted advisor, delivering industry and technical expertise and supporting our Assurance and Accounting practice. As a Manager you will: Deliver expert industry and technical expertise on a variety of technical assurance and accounting matters. Play an integral role in driving firm quality initiatives and support the development and maintenance of the firms accounting and auditing protocols. Participate in the ongoing development of MNPs extensive inhouse education programs and facilitate learning and development for assurance and accounting team members. Research and respond to queries under ASPE, IFRS, and CAS. Transfer knowledge gained through conferences and training sessions directly to team members, and in the development of tools and materials for firm training. Prepare and review highquality deliverables including written reports, management presentations, correspondence, and other technical work. Work alongside managers and partners to address assurance and accounting standards issues and promote the importance of quality control in all client engagements. Contribute to strategic and operational planning related to client and practice management. Mentor, motivate and coach team members toward professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews. Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary. Qualifications Completion of a CPA designation. Written and verbal French and English language skills, due to frequent collaboration with Englishspeaking teams/clients across Canada. 3 to 5 years of relevant public accounting experience. Knowledge of PSAS, ASNPO, and US GAAP standards (considered an asset). Extensive understanding of business, accounting, management and practice development principles. Proven peoplemanagement, relationshipbuilding and leadership skills. Strong strategic planning and conceptual thinking skills.
