Overview Position Overview The Regional Vice President of Sales will lead and drive Samyangs growth strategy within their assigned region. This role is responsible for P&L ownership, strategic account development, retail execution, distributor and broker management, and team leadership. The ideal candidate brings deep industry knowledge, proven leadership skills, and a track record of building strong retail and foodservice partnerships in international markets. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with corporate objectives for the assigned region Lead and manage regional key account negotiations with national and regional retailers, distributors, and foodservice operators Oversee and direct local brokers and partners; drive accountability and performance Own regional sales forecasting, pricing, and promotional planning Identify new business opportunities, route-to-market strategies, and channel expansion initiatives Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing sales team Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, finance, trade marketing, and supply chain Ensure full compliance with local regulations, trade practices, and internal reporting Represent the company at major industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings Report performance, risks, and opportunities to global sales leadership regularly Qualifications 15+ years of progressive sales experience in the FMCG/CPG industry, with a strong preference for food, beverage, or ethnic brands Proven success in regional or international sales leadership roles with P&L responsibility Deep knowledge of the assigned regions retail, wholesale, and/or foodservice landscape Strong relationships with top-tier retailers, distributors, and partners in-region Fluent in English; proficiency in local language(s) is highly preferred (Spanish for Mexico/Central America and South America; Portuguese for Brazil; French a plus for Canada) Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills Bachelors degree required; MBA or relevant graduate degree is a plus Willingness to travel frequently within the region (up to 4060%) Must be located in the U.S. Preferred Attributes Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build business from the ground up Strong cultural sensitivity and leadership in multicultural environments Experience working with Korean HQ or Asian brands is a plus Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, matrixed organizations Equal Employment Opportunity Samyang America is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all individuals.
