We''''re looking for a driven, client-focused Territory Sales Manager in Winnipeg to grow our reach and impact. This role is about more than hitting targets its about building lasting relationships, understanding customer needs, and bringing the best of Formations distribution and manufactured products to life in your territory. Youll manage existing accounts and hunt for new ones, helping us grow our market presence and deepen our customer partnerships. Reports to: Branch Manager, Winnipeg Location: Winnipeg, MB What Youll Be Doing: Manage an assigned territory to drive sales growth and maximize revenue potential Develop and execute a territory sales plan, including client visits, target lists, and forecasted activity Dedicate ~70% of your time to in-person visits with existing and prospective clients, including millworkers and cabinet makers Prepare quotes, follow up on leads, and close deals that meet margin expectations Track activities, calls, and opportunities in CRM with clear, complete information Participate in business development meetings and market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends In an Average Week, You Might... Start Monday reviewing your pipeline, finalizing your visit schedule, and aligning with internal teams Visit clients throughout the week checking in, solving problems, and identifying new opportunities Attend a trade event to generate new leads Submit a weekly summary to your Branch Manager, highlighting wins, challenges, and next steps Wrap up Friday reviewing your CRM activity and setting yourself up for the week ahead What You Bring: 3+ years in territory sales, ideally in wood products, manufacturing, or distribution A passion for customer success and sales growth Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., D365 Business Central) and Microsoft Office Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively A valid drivers license and comfort with regular regional travel Bonus Points Experience working with cabinetmakers, millworkers, or in the building materials industry Familiarity with CEUs or supporting A&D communities.
