As Engine expands in Canada, we are looking for a dynamic Senior Technical Account Manager to lead our strategic market entry and drive client success in Toronto. About the Role As the inaugural Senior Technical Account Manager for the Canadian region, you will serve as the primary technical executive advisor for Engines newest strategic client. Reporting to the Lead TAM, you will architect a strong, foundational relationship that defines our regional credibility, while localizing the global customer success playbook to the unique needs of the Canadian financial market. Responsibilities Strategic Client & Market Establishment (40%) Drive the technical success strategy for the launch client, focusing on satisfaction, adoption and quantifiable business outcomes. Guide the execution and localisation of the global TAM strategy for the Canadian market. Develop joint success plans, prioritising technical initiatives that secure the clients use case success. Present during Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews, focusing on alignment, platform performance and feature growth. Maintain a trusted advisory relationship with client executive management (VP and CSuite), translating complex platform capabilities into clear value. Technical Guidance & Incident Management (30%) Own the endtoend Major Incident lifecycle, driving crossfunctional resolution. Oversee proactive Problem Management initiatives to identify root causes and mitigate systemic risks. Ensure 100% completion of preventive actions within the defined timeframe for all Major Incidents. Global Strategy Execution & Product Influence (20%) Implement global product changes and API updates within the client environment. Synthesise and localise client feedback to identify marketspecific product requirements. Represent the Canadian client in global product forums, ensuring regional requirements are weighted and incorporated into the international roadmap. Engage in quarterly and annual planning cycles to align Engines roadmap with the clients entry goals. Knowledge Management & Mentorship (10%) Create Canadianmarketspecific knowledge assets to accelerate future TAM hires. Provide crosstraining to internal teams on the nuances of the client environment and integration. Maintain compliance with global knowledgemanagement standards. Qualities & Experience 7+ years of progressive experience in Technical Account Management or Strategic Customer Success, managing toptier enterprise accounts. Proven track record of executing and localising a global strategy within a new market. Expert technical aptitude with cloudbased SaaS systems and APIs, able to troubleshoot complex technical issues autonomously. Executive gravitas, influencing technical strategy with Clevel and VPlevel stakeholders in a major financial institution. Exceptional presentation and interpersonal communication skills, conveying complex concepts to nontechnical audiences. Direct experience operating in or supporting clients in the Canadian market is highly desirable. Interview Process First interview: 45 minutes with Lead TAM. Second interview: 60 minutes with TAM team members and Client Solutions delivery team, including a takehome test. Final interview: 45 minutes with Lead TAM and VP of Client Solutions.
