Job Overview This role is responsible to develop and lead the B2B Sales Experience Team in the effort to achieve annual sales targets for conferences, trade shows, print, and digital advertising. This role will also account manage high-profile customers and high-complexity contracts including prospecting and nurturing new business relationships. The role supports canfitpro events across Canada and globally as needed and collaborates with other canfitpro teams to deliver quality experiences and event logistics. Key Responsibilities Manage the full execution of the annual B2B sales targets including promotional timelines and development of sales materials and presentations. Manage monthly sales revenue targets, product inventory by monitoring sales reporting to achieve goals aligned with the strategic organizational goals. Conduct regular sales meetings with the full team to review sales, opportunities, leads, and scheduled meetings. Support the education curriculum build and attend regular meetings to confirm sponsored education participation and prospects, providing updates on open or new opportunities for all events. Lead and approve the creative collaboration sessions for planned marketing campaigns related to events to drive sales targets. Review and approve all B2B Sales creative briefs to ensure brand consistency and messaging with a strong call to action. Manage individual book of business and sales portfolio including new acquisitions and retention sales targets to support the organizations event and advertising targets. Monitor individual weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets. Plan daily sales activity including prospecting, qualifying leads, and monitor open opportunities to maintain a healthy pipeline. Schedule meetings, send emails, and conduct phone calls to customers daily to build rapport and develop new opportunities. Attend external events for industry knowledge and prospecting. Conduct company research to prepare for outbound call or outreach campaigns such as on LinkedIn, Google, Facebook, etc. Deliver account updates and insights to management and internal customers to leverage the business relationship and ensure quality handling and service. Collaborate with internal teams to identify sales targets for events and advertising channels. Collaborate with the Event Experience and Certification & Education teams to determine site selection and needs, and the fulfillment of all sponsor & exhibitor entitlements. Contribute to the Marketing & Communications plan for each Event to streamline marketing efforts. Participate in all other meetings with other teams and team leads to support the needs related to sponsorship or advertising sales. Manage, hire, train, and develop team members for the successful execution and delivery of high-quality learning and event experiences. Recruit qualified staff to support the needs of the team. Assess the performance, workload, capacity, and competencies of team members to align with team goals and expectations. Provide mentorship and guidance for role and career development. Monitor documentation, updates, and revision of team processes, policies, use of systems, trainings, and handbooks. Assist with team specific annual budget planning and strategic goals by analyzing historical data and planned initiatives to project monthly financial goals. Formulate reports on annual targets including key performance indicators and other key indicators to influence year-end targets. Provide regular updates to the full employee base and key stakeholders. Purpose of Communication: To plan and deploy marketing for delegate and consumer attendance at events, and for the fulfillment of purchased booth and sponsorships to support the event cost subsidy. External (outside the Organization) Contacts: Suppliers, Presenters, Vendors, and Customers. Purpose of Communication: For event execution and delivery including the fulfillment of paid positions and opportunities secured related to canfitpro events. Education Minimum Required: Postsecondary education. Preferred: PostSecondary Education in Business Management. Work Experience Minimum Required: 5+ years in B2B Sales and Account Management. Preferred: 2+ years in B2B Sales Leadership and Management. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong timemanagement and organization skills. Compensation It is expected that the selected candidate will start at a base salary of $58,000. This position is eligible for commissions in addition to the base salary. The annual range of expected compensation is $58,000 $92,000, determined by performance, time in the position and variable compensation earned.
