Risk Lead youll work with our client in an integrated project team to impact the transformation of major transit projects across Toronto and surrounding communities. Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, youll ensure consistent application of risk management processes across client delivery teams and embedded risk analysts. Youll lead the application of the sixstep risk management process, including risk analysis, mitigation planning, control, and reporting, and support the development of junior riskmanagement resources. You will also interface with the clients Corporate Risk Management function, identify and apply relevant industry best practice, collaborate with other Project Controls Leads to deliver a holistic service, and, when assigned, develop detailed quantitative risk analysis models, contractual risktransfer strategies, and refine riskmanagement process documentation (QCRA & QSRA). Requirements Bachelors Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Construction Management) At least 12 years experience in a riskmanagement related role At least 5 years experience in a rail transit / civil infrastructure / construction project context and/or a programmanagement / projectcontrols environment Experience in a publicsector riskmanagement role Active member of the Project Management Institute Relevant riskmanagement qualification from a recognized institution Excellent Microsoft Office skills Excel, Word, PowerPoint Detailed experience using industrystandard software packages Active Risk Manager (ARM), Primavera Risk Analyzer (PRA), @Risk Ability to act as a counterpart to the Head of Risk Management and interface with senior client executives (e.g., CEO, CCO, EVP) Preferred Qualifications Highly versed in riskmanagement theory, principles and practice Highly versed in broader projectcontrols theory, principles and practice Excellent presentation and facilitation skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with senior client resources and external stakeholders Attention to detail, problemsolving ability, and comfort working with minimal supervision Experience with reasoned decisionmaking in highpressure environments Ability to engage and influence a wide variety of project and program resources Jacobs welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
