Job Information Job ID: 279462 Location: AB-Market Mall (0512), 3625 Shaganappi Trail NW, Calgary, AB T3A 0E2, Canada (CA) Full Time/Part Time: Full Time Position Type: Regular Vacancy Status: This position is for an existing, open vacancy Job Summary The Asset Protection Partner protects the assets of a store against theft and works with the Leadership team to maintain operational controls to reduce shortage. Duties and Responsibilities Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable service to clients as needed. Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and via CCTV to identify, observe, apprehend or deter external thefts. Adhere to all laws and Sephora policies concerning apprehensions, searches, seizures and evidence preservation. Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries, accident investigations and audits. Develop and maintain relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security and other retailers. Testify in court on behalf of the company where summoned. Provide new hire and continuous employee trainings to maintain loss prevention awareness. Conduct store selfaudits, checklists and safety inspections, communicating findings to Leadership and District Loss Prevention Manager. Assist Leadership with inventory preparation and process. Partner with stores and DLPM in shrinkage prevention plans. Meet required weekly hours: Full Time 3040 hrs/week, Part Time 1620 hrs/week. Skills and Qualifications 1 year of asset protection/loss prevention experience in a retail environment. Meet all licensing requirements of the province or local jurisdiction. Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching in loss prevention techniques. Proficiency in Windows, Word and Excel is desirable. High School graduate or equivalent. Availability to work flexible hoursincluding evenings, weekends and holidaysand at multiple locations within a market. Physical Requirements Work in a fragrancefilled environment. Lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Bend and stretch to stock shelves. Compensation CAD$17.50 CAD$20.60 per hour, plus potential performancebased bonus, competitive benefits, learning and development.
