What you will do We are looking for technical writers that can support our team of fulltime professionals in writing technical reports that summarize work performed by our clients. Applicants should be open to work between 10 and 20 hours/week in an independent, flexible hours setting. Opportunities may exist to transition into a fulltime role upon completion of graduate studies. Your qualifications Currently pursuing an advanced degree (PhD or Masters) in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Software) or Computer Science. Strong independent decisionmaking skills; an ability to conduct technical research and work with limited information. Excellent oral and written communication skills including notetaking. Ability to work to a budget and with tight timelines. Experience working independently and in a crossfunctional team environment. Strong research skills. Highly flexible and adaptable. Prior industry experience obtained through internships or coops (Preferred). Prior experience writing grants, patents or technical reports (Preferred).
