Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management at TMX Group Reporting to the Managing Director, Enterprise Risk, the Senior Manager will provide strategic oversight and daily management of the organizations enterprise risk program, ensuring that risk management maximizes returns within sustainable, transparent, and wellunderstood parameters. Key Accountabilities Insurance Program Management & Strategy Analyze all insurance policies, articulate coverage limits, deductibles, and exclusions. Identify emerging risks and update the insurance program accordingly. Manage the insurance budget and premium forecasting. Lead the annual insurance renewal process. Serve as the primary contact for insurance brokers and underwriters. Oversee the insurance claims process and track trend analysis. Ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements. Conduct due diligence on target companies insurance programs. Incident Response and Management Oversight Maintain and manage the Enterprise Incident Management guideline and provide training. Oversee the endtoend incident response process for significant risk events. Lead postincident reviews to identify root causes. SelfIdentified Gaps Management Implement a systematic process to document deficiencies in the riskmanagement framework. Conduct gap analysis and prioritize remediation. Track remediation action plans with ownership and deadlines. Drive continuous improvement of the ERM framework. Support Execution of the ERM Program for business units and corporate functions Provide risk identification and treatment assessment process. Support the first line of defense with risk exposure identification and treatment. Apply risk appetite to ensure exposures remain acceptable. Identify opportunities to optimize risk exposures and eliminate redundant controls. Assist with sustainable enterprisewide ERM program development Develop risk appetite statements, risk policies, and methodologies. Advance risk measurement and monitoring methods, leveraging new technologies such as GenAI. Accelerate risk identification and assessment using large datasets. Liaise with compliance, internal audit, and other secondline roles. Lead a culture of effective risk management and promote transparency. Support enterprisewide risk communication and training initiatives. Skills And Experience Bachelors degree in business administration, economics, finance, or related field. Minimum of 10 years experience in a riskmanagement function. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Working knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI) applications for document review, data analysis, and risk modeling. Strong analytical, attention to detail, and criticalthinking skills. Proven ability for practical and innovative problem solving. Curiosity and desire to understand how things work. Enthusiasm and energy, with a teamoriented approach. Knowledge of financial markets, securities industry, and regulatory structure. Ability to partner effectively with multiple stakeholders on complex projects. Nice To Have Professional designation or working toward designation in risk management (FRM, PRM, CFA). Completion of the Canadian Securities Course. Knowledge of Google for Work.
