Job Overview Responsible for owning and optimizing the financial strategy for an assigned retail account by being fully embedded in the business. Acting as a strategic finance partner, the analyst supports customerspecific pricing, forecasting, and innovation planning. Through deep collaboration with crossfunctional teams, this role drives revenue growth, margin optimization, and financial clarity across seasonal and everyday planning cycles. Key Responsibilities Own and maintain endtoend pricing (Costing Tool/TVC/Price Grid) for assigned retail account. Initiate the TVCs for any product launches or changes. Work with crossfunctional teams (PD, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, etc.) to ensure the TVCs have the most recent information to complete OTIF. Benchmark cost components with different categories/customers for consistency. Align TVCs/Price Grids with customer marketing team and then the Sales team. Support seasonal and everyday planning cycles (line reviews) by aligning pricing strategy with overall customer margin requirements and category strategy. Support customerspecific pricing strategies that balance competitiveness with margin goals. Partner with Sales and Customer Marketing teams to ensure pricing reflects customer expectations, cost realities, and volume targets. Planning & Forecasting Work with Marketing, Sales, Finance, and CS to prepare sales forecast by Category/SKU using insights/data from internal and external sources (Nielsen, Walmart, etc.). Integrate revenue drivers (price, mix, volume) into financial models to support strategic planning and scenario analysis. Financial Modeling & Decision Support Create business cases for new marketing initiatives, including scenario analysis and feasibility assessment. Model revenue impact of new items, cost changes, and customerspecific programs to support go/nogo decisions. Support innovation pipeline by modeling financial impact of new concepts, including feasibility, costtoserve, and volume potential. Conduct postlaunch reviews to assess financial performance of new items and identify learnings for future cycles. Process Improvement & Compliance Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, tools, and systems. Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and procurement processes. Maintain clean, structured documentation for pricing and itemlevel financials. The Recipe For Success College diploma or university degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field of study. Minimum 3 years of previous experience in an analyst role (Pricing, costing). Minimum 1year experience with an ERP system. Strong communication skills (verbal and written), adapting messages to suit stakeholder groups. Ability to prioritize, organize workload, and manage time effectively in a highdemand, fastpaced environment. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision to deliver timebound tasks. Detailoriented, quickthinking, resourceful, with the ability to balance multiple deadlines and priorities. Ability to collaborate with other staff/departments to problemsolve and correct issues as they arise. Strong MS Office skills required, including Pivots and Formula/Functions. Sound judgement and good analytical skills, as well as excellent research skills.
