Responsibilities Work on developing Canada''''s first orbital class launch vehicle, including scoping, research, design, and prototyping of the Hadfield Engine''''s thrust vector control (TVC) and general GNC systems, with an emphasis on rapid iteration and testing while maintaining safety. Build the foundations for NordSpace''''s GNC division in the first year and participate in recruiting additional engineers. Collaborate across teams and contribute to project goals and safety analyses. Qualifications 3+ years of industry experience in propulsion control systems Bachelor''''s degree in aerospace engineering or related field; Master''''s or Ph.D. greatly preferred Significant hands-on engineering experience with control systems design, prototyping, and testing Significant knowledge of and passion for the space industry Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct independent research Excellent English communication skills Excellent project management skills This is a full-time in-person role at our head office in Markham #J-18808-Ljbffr
