Job Overview Seasonal Air Tractor 802 Application Pilot position with Forest Patrol Limited, a subsidiary of JDI Woodlands, serving as aerial application and aerial fire suppression pilots for the 2026 season. The base location is Juniper, New Brunswick, with work across New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Maine. The role involves operating Air Tractor 802 aircraft for aerial application (insecticide and herbicide) and firefighting, on a 14 days on / 7 days off rotation, mid-April to early October, and approximately 120 working days per contract. Responsibilities Operational flying during day VFR conditions across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Maine Operate aircraft safely in accordance with CARs and company procedures Perform daily inspections of the aircraft and ancillary equipment Maintain readiness commensurate with wildfire risk Assist maintenance personnel with aircraft readiness Live at the Juniper airbase during shifts (address: 251 Southwest Road, Juniper, NB, E7L 4S7) Be prepared for temporary assignments to other airbases/camps in NB, NS, or Maine to support missions, training, fire protection, and application programs Qualifications Canadian commercial pilot license with valid Category 1 medical Canadian Foreign License Validation Certificate (sponsored by Forest Patrol) Proficient in spoken and written English (ICAO Level 4 or equivalent) Minimum 1500 hours fixed-wing PIC experience Tailwheel experience on aircraft >8,000 lbs (3,500 kg) MGTOW Experience flying Air Tractors is an asset Operational experience with aerial firefighting and/or aerial application is an asset Valid passport/visa for entry to the U.S. The Ideal Candidate Strong situational awareness, decisive judgment, and calm under pressure Technical proficiency with aircraft and application systems Leadership and clear communication; adaptability to unexpected challenges Compensation and Benefits Base wage ranges from $53.05/hour to $81/hour.
