Department: Corporate Location: Toronto Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Compliance Own the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, MD&A, and related disclosures in accordance with IFRS. Coordinate with external auditors during quarterly reviews and the annual audit process. Consolidation & Analysis Perform monthly consolidation of global, multicurrency results, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Review submissions from regional controllership teams to validate financial data and accountability. Prepare supporting schedules and reports to facilitate internal and external reporting. Transaction Review & Process Improvement Calculate and post corporatelevel journal entries as a key component of the monthend close process. Review, document, and journalize complex transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to optimize efficiency. Business Support & Special Projects Deliver financial insights and guidance to crossfunctional business units. Lead or contribute to ad hoc projects, reconciliations, and reporting requests as assigned. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (required). Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting. Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) or actively pursuing designation. Solid working knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting requirements. Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and problemsolving skills, with attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to both financial and nonfinancial stakeholders. Ability to work as part of a very small, fastmoving team willing to wear many hats.
