The Role We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, solutionoriented Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel. Reporting to the VP, Head of Legal and Compliance, you will partner closely with crossfunctional teams on a broad spectrum of legal and privacy matters. You will provide leadership and guidance on contractual negotiation, data privacy, and legal operations in a tech and AIfirst environment. What You''''ll Do Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including NDAs, SAAS agreements, and service provider agreements. Manage and evolve the data privacy program and advise on legal aspects of data and data privacy. Provide clear, actionable legal guidance on daytoday operational matters, balancing commercial priorities with risk management. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess legal risks and develop strategies that enable growth and innovation. Contribute to the development of contractual templates, playbooks, and best practices. Lead and implement AI solutions within the legal and compliance team to improve efficiency and assist other teams in responsibly implementing AI. Participate in drafting and implementing scalable governance processes. What You Bring 58 years of experience in a legal role, preferably at a fintech, financial services, or technology company. Strong organizational, problemsolving, analytical, and criticalthinking skills with the ability to propose businessoriented solutions. Proven success working crossfunctionally with different stakeholders. Experience in privacy matters and contractual negotiation while staying handson with operations and execution. Bilingualism (full professional proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken) is required. Comfort thriving in a fastpaced, evolving environment.
