About The Role Spellbook is looking for a Legal Solutions Architect to serve as our inhouse legal expert and product strategist. This is a unique opportunity for a transactional lawyer who wants to step beyond the billable hour and into a highimpact role at the intersection of legal practice, product design, and sales enablement. Youll work hand in hand with our Customer Success, Product, and Sales teams to make sure Spellbook actually works for lawyers in their daytoday practice. Your background in transactional law, especially if youve been on both sides of the table (private practice and inhouse), will help you understand customer pain points, translate them into clear workflows, and guide teams through implementation, training, and ongoing support so they see real, measurable value from Spellbook. Responsibilities Partner with larger inhouse legal teams and private practice transactional groups to map their existing workflows and configure Spellbook so it fits naturally. Translate realworld transactional workflows and customer feedback into clear, actionable product features and enhancements that improve adoption and measurable value. Work closely with Customer Success Managers to support onboarding and ongoing success, joining sales calls, demos, and RFPs as a legal expert and helping drive adoption through targeted training and tailored guidance. Develop scalable playbooks, configuration guides, and training materials for inhouse teams and transactional practice groups, and turn these into refined product training packs, comprehensive documentation, and impactful thoughtleadership content. Represent Spellbook in webinars, CLE sessions, and industry events, showcasing practical workflows, customer outcomes, and our product leadership. Support customers and internal teams with additional responsibilities and projects as needed, including troubleshooting workflow issues and refining best practices. Other responsibilities as required. Qualifications A qualified lawyer with 35 years of transactional experience, ideally with a mix of law firm and inhouse exposure. Deep familiarity with contract negotiation, drafting, and review workflows. An understanding of Large Language Models the modern AI landscape. A natural selfstarter with strong product instinctsyoure excited to build, iterate, and drive things forward without waiting for a playbook. Comfortable working crossfunctionally with product managers, engineers, sales teams, and external customers. Strong communicator with experience presenting to legal and business audiences (bonus points if youve led CLEs or training). Nice to Haves Experience working with or at a legal tech or SaaS company. Familiarity with sales processes, RFPs, or customer enablement in a B2B setting. Technical curiosity or experience working with product/engineering teams. Why Join Spellbook?
