A day in the life: TheSeniorMechanical Engineer willbe responsible for leading theengineering design ofHVAC and plumbing systems forboth new construction and retrofit projectsThis individual can expect to: Lead the design and development of HVAC systems, heating and cooling plants and plumbing systems. Prepare and review technical reports, drawings, and specifications. Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members. Collaborate and coordinate with other engineering disciplines and Offshore Design team. Ensure all engineering work meets quality standards and codes, while ensuring client expectations are met. Review and approve technical designs, drawings, and specifications. Work closely with other disciplinesto develop integrated solutions. Maintain and manage relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met. We''''d love to hear from you if you have Abachelors degree in mechanical engineering withminimum of 10 years experience in engineering consulting industrywithfocus on the design ofHVAC, Plumbing & Fire protection Servicesforthebuildings. A valid PEO license. LEED Accreditation and sustainable design experienceis an asset. Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles,codes, andstandards.Proficiency in relevant software to mechanical design, such as REVIT, IES,HAP. Demonstrated experience in leading the designofvariousmechanical system design approaches with at least 5 years of experience either on delivery of Data Centre projects in Canada or Science Facilities (Labs, Pharmaetc). Proven ability to leada mechanical design team across complex multidisciplinary projects. Demonstrated experience in managing projects, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
