We are seeking a Contract Assistant Professor in Chiropody to join our team of professionals committed to preparing learners as competent, highly skilled healthcare providers in foot care practices. Position Details: Position: Casual/Contract Assistant Professor, Chiropody (1 Position) Status: Casual Part-Time Department: Chiropody Academic Program & Clinic Site: The Michener Institute Salary: $40.04 - $42.48 per hour Length of Contract: Casual Role Responsibilities: Model and demonstrate best practices in clinical foot care according to College of Chiropodists of Ontario standards. Provide quality podiatric assessment, treatment, and care to referred or self-referred clients. Create a positive learning environment for students and clients at the clinic. Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and offer remedial support. Collaborate with faculty and staff at Michener. Qualifications: Current registration in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario. Degree and/or Masters level education preferred. Experience in the field within the last 12 months preferred. Certification by, and membership in OSC and CFPM preferred. Current CPR and basic first aid certification. Current Vulnerability Sector Check. All immunizations up to date. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
