About the Role In this opportunity as Senior Manager AI, Software Development Engineering , you will: Lead and manage a team of AI software development engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle for AI-driven products and features, from requirements gathering to deployment and monitoring. Apply Agile methodology principles to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables effectively. Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to define software requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Oversee the design, development, and deployment of applications leveraging cloud software, particularly within AWS. Implement robust monitoring strategies to ensure the performance, reliability, and scalability of AI solutions. Identify and execute optimizations for existing AI models and software to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Champion brand differentiation and identify competitive advantages through AI technologies. Manage procurement processes related to AI development tools, platforms, and services. Ensure smooth and successful product release cycles, coordinating with cross-functional teams. Oversee development and maintenance of scalable service platforms to support AI deployments. Lead technology implementations for new AI frameworks, tools, and methodologies. Provide strong people management, including hiring, mentoring, performance reviews, and career development for team members. About You Youre a fit for the role if your background includes: Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Minimum of 810 years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 35 years in a leadership or management role focused on AI or machine learning. Proven expertise in Agile methodology and its application in software development. Extensive experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, for deploying and managing AI applications. Demonstrated ability to drive brand differentiation and identify competitive advantages through technology. Strong background in deploying applications and ensuring their operational success. Proficiency in setting up and managing monitoring systems for complex software solutions. Experience with optimising software and AI models. Exceptional people-management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams. Familiarity with procurement processes in a technology context. Solid understanding of the product release lifecycle. Experience developing and maintaining service platforms. In-depth knowledge of software requirements specific to AI and their translation into technical designs. Proven ability to lead and execute successful technology implementations.
