Lead and mentor the engineering team, providing handson training and development for junior staff. Oversee daily operations and preventative maintenance of all building systems (HVAC, boilers, chillers, plumbing, electrical, and life safety). Troubleshoot and resolve complex, longstanding maintenance challenges with a solutionsfocused approach. Manage vendor relationships, coordinate capital projects, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. Monitor energy consumption and implement sustainability initiatives where possible. Develop departmental budgets, track costs, and ensure longterm protection of the hotels assets. Ideal Background Experience as a Chief Engineer, Director of Engineering, or Engineering Manager in a hotel or resort environment. Mechanical engineering or 4th Class Power Engineer certification (preferred, not required). Demonstrated success in managing both technical systems and team development.
