We are excited to help digitally transform their operations at scale. About the Role The Smart Trailer and Connected Equipment business unit is one of the fastestgrowing product lines at Samsara. As a fullstack engineer on the team, you will deliver endtoend solutions such as tracking utilization of equipment, monitoring loads and temperature through sensors, and providing assettracking solutions that give a complete picture of where a customers assets are deployed. This role is remote and open to candidates residing in Canada. Relocation assistance will not be provided. Responsibilities Bring a customerfocused mindset to all development, balancing the need to iterate quickly and deliver customer wins iteratively. Partner with the Engineering Manager to advocate for the longterm technical health of our products alongside product priorities. Act as a force multiplier on the team by leveraging other engineers and personally exemplifying how to deliver value at Samsara. Mentor other engineers by actively participating in design and implementation conversations across the team. Minimum Requirements Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of relevant industry experience in software development. Strong programming fundamentals with proficiency in at least one of: Go, GraphQL, TypeScript, React. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problemsolving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage technical discussions. Great teamplayer mentality, enjoying collaborative work with engineers across various focus areas (infra, firmware, etc.). Preferred Qualifications Built and shipped a 01 product and understands how to scale for growth and business impact postlaunch. Understanding of how to build for stability and growth while being responsive to customer feedback. Prior experience working with geolocation data.
