Summer Intern, Legal Department, Production, Global Channels & Media The legal team in our Toronto office is looking for a summer intern. Reporting to Blue Ant''s Senior Legal Counsel, the summer intern will be responsible for assisting with legal matters on Blue Ant''s productions, global channels and media business. The summer intern will be expected to work in our Toronto office at 99 Atlantic Avenue three (3) days per week (remaining two (2) days remote) from approximately mid-May until mid-August 2026. Application Requirements: Please submit an application (including cover letter, resume and law school transcript) on Application Deadline: February 4, 2026 Compensation: Ontario minimum wage Core Responsibilities and Duties Core responsibilities and duties will include supporting the legal team with a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to: Reviewing, drafting and revising legal agreements for development and production, including shopping agreements, option agreements, talent agreements, standard production releases and music licenses Reviewing, drafting and revising legal agreements for global channels and media, including content licensing agreements, commissioning agreements, production services agreements and channel carriage agreements Performing legal research on relevant issues and summarizing findings Attending meetings with the Legal and Business Affairs teams and internal teams General organization tasks for the Legal and Business Affairs teams, including creation, updating and maintenance of agreement templates, and tracking contractual obligations and payment schedules Corresponding and collaborating with the Legal and Business Affairs teams on miscellaneous day-to-day issues Key Qualifications and Experience Must be currently enrolled in law school Knowledge of the television/entertainment industry is an asset Excellent organizational and communication skills Detail oriented Able to work in a fast paced environment and manage competing deadlines A problem solver who is flexible and adaptable when necessary A team player with a willingness to help other team members with various tasks While we may use digital tools to support the efficiency of our recruitment process, we do not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) to screen, assess or select candidates.
