Summary We are seeking a full time Conveyancer and Administrative Assistant to join our legal team in Sun Peaks. Based in our office, you will play a vital role in supporting our conveyancing and day to day operations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a law firm committed to excellence. Key Responsibilities: Administer and manage commercial and residential real estate conveyancing and mortgage refinance files from opening to closing Assist with corporate matters, including incorporations, annual reports, resolutions, and record keeping Prepare, review, and finalize legal documents such as contracts and transfer documents. Prepare electronic filing applications Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for active and closed files Perform accurate data entry to ensure up-to-date and complete case records Ensure all documentation complies with legal standards and firm policies Conduct title searches, property due diligence, and registrations. Coordinate closings and manage transaction timelines. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Administrative & Client Support: Manage day-to-day office and administrative matters, including answering phones and emails and general file management Schedule appointments and maintain calendars Communicate professionally with clients, realtors, lenders, municipalities, financial institutions, and other stakeholders Assist with record keeping of deposits and preparing cheques Support project management by tracking deadlines and monitoring file progress Requirements: A minimum of 1-3 years of conveyancing experience A willingness to learn about corporate/commercial law, immigration law, and wills and estates Secured housing in Sun Peaks Valid immigration status as either a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen ''Candidates with the following skill sets would be preferred: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills; Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work well in a high-pressure environment; Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to prioritize; Excellent computer skills and familiarity with LTSA, BC Online, GoVeyance, Adobe, Microsoft Office and Google products (training can be provided) Great organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy; Willing to help out where needed; Willing to learn about real estate, business law, immigration and wills and estates; Is passionate and as desire to grow with our law firm, long-term Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Location: Sun Peaks, BC (required) Work Location: In person
