Our team is seeking a hardworking, committed, friendly and enthusiastic baker. Located in the heart of downtown Ottawa, Cafe Deluxe is a family owned, fast paced caf and catering company dedicated to customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone who has: Proven experience as a baker in a bakery or similar setting Knowledge of various baking techniques and methods Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent teamwork and communication skills Maintains positive morale and professional attitude Duties include, but are not limited to: Preparing and baking a variety of items including cookies, loaves, pastries, and squares Following established recipes and quality standards to ensure consistent results Assisting in the preparation of catering orders and other ad hoc duties to support the team Frequently checking the display case, transferring the product to front house and helping the team in refilling the displays with the products Monitoring and maintain inventory levels Developing and testing new recipes Keeping a clean and organized workspace Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour Expected hours: 38 42 per week Benefits: Dental care Discounted or free food Extended health care Paid time off Vision care Ability to commute/relocate: Ottawa, ON K2P 2J8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Work Location: In person
