Contract, Field Operator A private Alberta based oil producer with assets in the Whitecourt Area. This position running on an 8/6 schedule, with 10 hour days. Responsibilities: Day to day oil facility operations including pumpjack, ESP, and injection wells, pipelines and battery in a sour environment Troubleshooting basic equipment issues and completing work order requests Ensure all activities are in compliance with health, safety and environmental practices and procedures Quadding is involved in this area on a daily basis Qualifications: Must have minimum 5 years of oilwell operating experience Mechanical aptitude will be considered an asset Ability to work independently and contribute in a team environment Good verbal and written communication skills Valid H2S Alive and Standard First Aid Driver''s license and clean abstract Start Date: Immediate Location: North of the Whitecourt, Alberta Area Compensation: Based on experience Other considerations: For applicants selected to be interviewed, pre-employment background screening will be required.
