Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, with experience in assisted living environments. As a Registered Nurse/Registered Practical Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and pain management strategies. Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Accuro. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and case management. Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and best practices in patient care. Assist in the management of patients in various settings including medical offices and assisted living facilities. Provide compassionate care to seniors, ensuring their comfort during medical procedures. Experience Current Registered Nurse (RN)/Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) license required. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Accuro, is preferred. Previous experience in case management or assisted living settings is advantageous. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pain management techniques is essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment. Cantonese/Mandarin fluency is considered an asset Part time position with 15-20 hours per week: Mondays 8:30 to 1pm, Tuesdays 2 to 5 pm, Fridays 8:30 to 4 pm with 1-2 Thursday/month from 8:30 to 5:30 pm. We are looking for flexible candidates and will try to work with your schedule.
