If you''re energetic, enthusiastic, and love helping patients smile, we''d love to meet you Why You''ll Love Working Here Friendly, supportive ''big family'' culture with a collaborative clinical team Diverse clinical exposure across surgical, restorative, orthodontic, and esthetic services Growth-minded practice Work alongside four doctors, three full-time assistants, part-time clinical support, four hygienists (full- and part-time), and three receptionists Key Responsibilities Support implant, perio, and implant surgery appointments, including surgical setup, sterilization, and chairside assisting Assist with orthodontic procedures (braces and clear aligners), adjustments, records, and patient education Prepare, assist, and break down rooms for crown and bridge and esthetic dentistry procedures Competently fabricate high-quality temporary crowns and bridges (temps) that meet functional and esthetic standards Capture diagnostic-quality dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols Maintain strict infection control, instrument sterilization, and operatory cleanliness Document treatment notes accurately and support smooth clinical workflows and scheduling Deliver a welcoming, compassionate experience for every patient Qualifications Active Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) license (required) Demonstrated chairside assisting experience in general or specialty dentistry (required) Proven ability to fabricate temporaries and take high-quality dental radiographs Strong knowledge of infection control, sterilization, and dental materials Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills Patient-first mindset with a positive, energetic attitude Willingness to learn new techniques and cross-train across specialties Nice-to-Have Experience assisting in implant placement, periodontal procedures, and surgical protocols Orthodontic assisting experience (brackets, wires, aligner workflows) Familiarity with digital dentistry (intraoral scanning, digital X-rays) Experience with Abeldent Schedule, Compensation and Benefits Full-time role within a multidisciplinary practice Schedule Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm), with the occasional Saturdays (8:00am-2:30pm) Overtime paid on 8+ hours in 1-day, and 40+hr/week Paid holidays and office closures Compensation commensurate with experience, plus training opportunities Free dental for yourself and immediate family (spouse/common-law and children only), excluding labs after probation period Access to dental and wellness products at cost, including electric toothbrushes, high-fluoride toothpaste, water picks/Hydro flosser, Botox, and other in-office products Paid uniforms: FIGS scrubs Birthday lunches End-of year party for staff and their spouses/partners Occasional after-work happy hour gathering (hosted by practice owner) Paid attendance at the annual Pacific Dental Conference for full-team members Free staff parking (parking decal for parking 3+ hours) About Our Practice We''re a high-energy, team-oriented office delivering comprehensive care in implants, periodontics, orthodontics, crown and bridge, and esthetic dentistry.
