We are seeking a trustworthy, motivated and personable individual to help assist us in our daily operations. You will be joining a small but growing Toronto based wealth management firm. The position is suitable for someone who is a quick learner, organized, detail oriented, able to follow instructions and complete tasks independently. The administrative assistant will be an important member of our team and have an opportunity to grow with the company. Salary range is $40,000 to $50,000 per annum commensurate with experience. The position is temporary full-time (1-year contract with the possibility of becoming permanent thereafter). Work is to be carried out 100% on site at our office in Yorkville, Toronto, Ontario. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greeting visitors to the office Preparing the boardroom for meetings Office management, ensuring supplies are restocked, handling mail General office tasks, data entry and record keeping Assisting with client account documentation, filing and correspondence Compiling data, filling forms and preparing reports Required Qualifications: Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills, experience working in a team environment Proficiency with computer systems (Microsoft Windows operating system) Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel Experience working with PDF files (creating, editing, filling) Helpful Qualifications and Experience: Prior experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant Demonstrated ability to work with clients/customers in any industry Basic understanding of financial concepts and/or experience in the industry Experience working with financial account documentation/forms All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
