About the Role We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to support our tooling and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for verifying the dimensional accuracy and quality of moulds, dies, components, and related tooling using CMMs, scanning equipment, and manual inspection methods. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and experienced in a moldmaking or tool-and-die environment. Key Responsibilities Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and scanners Inspect moulds, dies, components, electrodes, fixtures, and plastic injection/die cast parts Perform manual inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, gauge pins, and radius gauges Interpret CAD data, blueprints, and GD&T requirements Record inspection results and prepare inspection reports Use CAD systems to generate or modify CMM/scanner programs Log job activity and inspection data in the company ERP system Perform routine inspection equipment maintenance Operate overhead cranes and rigging equipment as required Maintain a clean, organized, and safe quality inspection environment Follow all health and safety policies and procedures Assist with training of new employees as directed Qualifications Grade 12 or equivalent 23 years of experience operating and programming CMM machines Experience in mould making or tool & die preferred Hands-on experience with PC-DMIS and PolyWorks Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge Comfortable working with CAD systems Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented Why Join Us Work with advanced inspection technology Be part of a skilled, quality-driven tooling team Clean, safe, and professional work environment Long-term opportunity with a company focused on precision and continuous improvement Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour Benefits: Dental care Disability insurance Extended health care Life insurance Profit sharing RRSP match Vision care Work Location: In person
