Uplifting Your Career at Ornge The Warehouse Stores Technician helps ensure the right medical equipment and supplies are in the right place at the right time to support Ornge''s operational and clinical needs. This role support s safe, efficient operations and improve day to day processes. We ''re looking for someone w ith s hipping/receiving experience, ideally in a health-related setting who likes to take initiative, jump in where needed, and enjoys being part of a team that gets things done. Key Accountabilities : Participate in daily production meetings and weekly planning meetings . - Receive and inspect incoming medical products to ensure they meet quality standards, policies, and procedures . - Accurately enter receiving and shipping data into inventory and tracking systems . - Safely store inventory in designated locations, including handling and organizing skids of medical equipment . - Pull medical equipment and supplies based on daily and scheduled demand . - Package and prepare items for shipment to prevent damage and meet applicable regulations . - Select the appropriate shipping method and carrier based on urgency and type of equipment . - Prepare shipping labels and documentation as required . - Load, unload, and move skids and large shipments safely using proper equipment . - Support warehouse re organization and layout improvements to improve efficiency and safety . - Assist with inventory counts, audits, and stock reconciliation . - Monitor supply levels and help identify shortages or replenishment needs . - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment . - Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet operational needs . Qualifications : Secondary School Diploma or GED required; post secondary diploma in a related field . - Red Seal Parts Technician certification considered an asset . - 12 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, preferably in a healthcare or medical environment . - Valid driver''s license . - Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of internal partners . - Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work as a self starter . - Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team .
