Job Summary Seeking Full or Part time Nurse in a busy and friendly Family Medicine Clinic for work in a collegial and caring interdisciplinary environment. Position can be flexible in hours of work - to be discussed directly with potential candidates. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care, assist with clinical procedures, and support the smooth operation of our medical office. The Primary Care Nurse will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing services and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Duties Perform patient assessments and document medical histories using medical terminology. Administer medications and injections following prescribed protocols. Utilize electronic health records using Telus PS Suite for documentation Assist with wound care, and other clinical procedures. Support patient care activities across diverse settings including acute care, senior care, dementia care, palliative care and pediatrics Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medication administration, and post-treatment care. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff. Skills Proficiency in Telus PS Suite an asset. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to work effectively with children and elderly populations. Prior experience in medical offices or outpatient clinics is highly desirable. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with professionalism and compassion in fast-paced settings. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
