Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled chiropodist/Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of foot and ankle conditions, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, acute care practices, and the ability to work collaboratively within a hospital or medical office setting. The Chiropodist/Podiatrist will also engage in data collection and research activities to enhance patient care and outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations of patients'' feet and ankles to diagnose conditions. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Perform surgical procedures as necessary for foot and ankle issues. Educate patients on foot health, prevention strategies, and post-treatment care. Participate in research initiatives aimed at improving podiatric practices and patient outcomes. Qualifications: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution. Experience in pediatrics is preferred but not required. Familiarity with medical terminology related to podiatry and general healthcare. Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
