Overview Seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join the construction and maintenance team for work within Calgary. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in plumbing systems, HVAC, and general building maintenance. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to ensure the proper installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems. The position requires a detail-oriented professional capable of reading blueprints and schematics, performing heavy lifting, and applying safety standards across all tasks. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately. Utilize hand tools, power tools and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently. Perform routine maintenance on plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and related mechanical systems. Conduct inspections to identify issues with plumbing or HVAC systems and recommend appropriate solutions. Assist with construction activities including assembly, and schematics interpretation as needed. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes. Heavy lifting of materials and equipment required for installation or repairs. Qualifications Proven experience in plumbing, HVAC systems, or related maintenance roles. Mechanical knowledge with familiarity in construction environments. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to installations. Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation. Strong understanding of safety protocols in construction or maintenance settings. Valid driver''s license preferred for travel between job sites.
