Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Long Haul Driver to operate commercial vehicles across long distances. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and timely delivery of freight while maintaining compliance with all transportation regulations. Duties Safely operate heavy-duty trucks and trailers over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using forklift or other heavy equipment as necessary Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when required to ensure vehicle readiness Assist with freight handling, securing loads, and ensuring cargo integrity during transit Follow route plans efficiently, managing schedules to meet delivery deadlines Skills Valid commercial driver''s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience in freight transportation, especially long-haul routes Proficiency in forklift operation for loading and unloading freight Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair skills Strong understanding of transportation safety regulations and compliance standards Excellent navigation, time management, and communication skills Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments This position is integral to our logistics operations, requiring a dedicated professional committed to safety, punctuality, and operational excellence.
