Buckland is looking for an Infrastructure Analyst, Senior What you''ll be doing This position is responsible for the smooth operation of Buckland''s IT Infrastructure. This includes design, implementation, analysis, research, and problem solving of Infrastructure systems. Senior Infrastructure Analyst will be researching new technologies and staying up to date in technical knowledge. You will be responsible for Following best practices to produce industry standard documentation including policies, standards, and procedures, project plans, status reports, and training material. Architecture the design, implementation, maintenance, automation, and optimization of all IT Infrastructure tools. Analyzing and helping to resolve; Client and server-based issues Bug fixing and repatching Support server operating systems. Escalated IT Helpdesk tickets. Ensure change management is followed during software and hardware upgrades Fulfil requests to ensure hardware, software and network are available 98+% of the time on a 24/7 basis, excluding scheduled downtime. Identify (internal/ external) gaps and recommend changes improving stability and reducing cyber security attacks and other inherent risks. Work with Cyber Security and Services and Support staff to ensure best practices. Above average written and verbal communication skills. Showcase your skills with Microsoft utilizing programs such as Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook. Foster a fast-paced culture leading by example in terms of accountability and continuous improvement within the team. Effectively prioritize and manage the team multiple and personal tasks to meet KPI''s and deadlines. To provide the highest level of customer service by leading and mentoring, fostering a positive and productive work environment and resolving escalated issues as needed. What we need from you Computer Science degree or diploma or equivalent education and work experience. 5-7+ years'' experience with servers, databases and operating systems including Windows Server 2012/2016/+, Microsoft Exchange 2010/2016/+, SQL Server. Hands-on experience with VMWare vSphere 5 & VMWare Horizon View (VCP and VCAP certifications an asset). Microsoft 365 and Azure experience is an asset. Experience in any of the following; Exchange Server, Microsoft technologies, project implementation, EDI, and Business Re-Engineering, VOIP and PBX telephone system troubleshooting and maintenance. Cloud Infrastructure Microsoft Exchange and MS technologies Windows server environment and the accompanying enterprise applications, Active Directory, IIS, file servers, etc. Microsoft SQL Server Desktop support for PC environment supporting Windows 10 and Microsoft Office suite Networking involving multiple platforms, Cisco/Nortel/HP/Dell/other vendors Switching, Routing, WAN and Remote Access an asset. Working technical knowledge of; TCP/IP SSH & SSL/TLS RADIUS 802.1x IPSEC Wi-Fi Excellent problem solving and decision- making skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
