Job Title: .Net Application Product Support Engineer Location : Halifax, NS (100% remote work accepted from anywhere in US; however we''d prefer EST and CST based resources) Duration : 12+ Months Contract Teams Meeting Interview Job Description: Required: Experience supporting .NET-based applications, including error analysis, basic debugging, and user-side issue resolution. The Product Support Engineer provides support to end users for specific application or system issues. The Product Support Engineer performs advanced operation/technical support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. May apply intermediate mathematical skills. Product Support Engineer identifies, researches and resolves technical problems of moderate complexity. Responds to telephone, email and online requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem using applicable systems and tools. Decisions are typically focus on methods, tactics and processes for completing administrative tasks/projects. Regularly exercises discretion and judgment in prioritizing requests and interpreting and adapting procedures, processes and techniques, and works under limited guidance due to previous experience/breadth and depth of knowledge of administrative processes and organizational knowledge. Required Qualifications Associate''s or Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field 2+ years of help desk support experience Effective verbal and written communication skills Effective problem-solving skills Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences Preferred Qualifications Understanding of IT systems and functions with preferred previous work experience in the IT field Some knowledge of SQL Experience with ticketing support systems
