Key Skills & Competencies Customer-focused leadership with strong communication and collaboration skills Hands-on people leadership, including coaching, mentoring, and team development Sound judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities Strong planning, organization, and time-management skills Results-driven mindset with accountability and reliability Adaptable, flexible, and open to creative and innovative thinking High standards of ethics, integrity, and quality Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Key Responsibilities Lead the store in alignment with company mission, vision, and values while fostering a respectful, inclusive, and motivating workplace Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders, and the local community Drive sales growth and margins by identifying opportunities, coaching the team, and leading by example on the floor Deliver an exceptional customer experience, including resolving escalated concerns with empathy and professionalism Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team through clear expectations, coaching, and ongoing training Support HR processes including recruitment, documentation, and performance management Develop current and future leaders through mentorship and continuous learning Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and legislative requirements Promote a culture of safety, wellness, and accountability, including incident response and Leadership & Operations Oversee daily store operations, including scheduling, payroll accuracy, purchasing, expense control, and reporting Maintain operational, merchandising, cash handling, inventory, and ordering standards in line with company policies and procedures Provide ongoing performance management through coaching, feedback, and accountability conversations Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with buyers, vendors, and other branches to meet customer demand Execute a local market strategy aligned with corporate goals and community needs Coordinate with external vendors to maintain a safe, clean, and professional store environment Ensure consistent compliance with health and safety, operational, and reporting requirements Partner closely with the Director of Operations and participate in regular leadership meetings and calls What we offer: Competitive salary ($67,320 $75,000 based on experience) Comprehensive benefits and company pension plan Paid vacation and holidays A supportive culture that values work-life balance The opportunity to grow your career within Moffatt & Powell Moffatt & Powell is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive, barrier-free workplace.
