Position Term: Contract, Full Time (12 months) Level: 10 Salary: $52.27 to $64.34/per hour Location: Head Office, Toronto iGaming Ontario leads the Province of Ontario''s dynamic internet gaming (igaming) market that, in its third year generated $83 billion in total wagers, a 31% increase over the previous year. This resulted in $3.2 billion in total gaming revenue from over 80 gaming sites. Even more, Ontario''s igaming market sustained almost 15,000 full-time equivalent jobs across the province. To achieve these results, iGaming Ontario is guided by its vision to Lead the World''s Best Gaming Market. iGaming Ontario is looking for a Senior Policy Advisor to provide advice and expertise in the research, analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation of policies and programs in alignment with iGaming Ontario''s strategic objectives. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Policy, you will: Undertake all aspects of policy analysis and development, including conducting research and analysis of trends and directions, issue identification and risk management, development of options and recommendations, implementation, and evaluation. Maintain current knowledge of sector/industry issues, identifying issues that have policy implications for iGaming Ontario and developing recommendations that addresses the broader policy agenda for the agency. Develop presentation material, in-depth reports and analysis and present policy options and recommendations to senior management for decision making purposes. Lead or support projects to develop and implement processes that will directly enhance policy design, structure, and function. Contribute to the development of benchmarks and performance criteria to assess and report on the effectiveness of new or changed policies/programs. Contribute to cross-disciplinary initiatives and participate in committees and related working groups. Develop and maintain a broad network of internal and external stakeholders to support consultation, collaboration, and policy advice on issues impacting the regulated industry. The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor''s degree in public administration, public policy, political science or related field or equivalent experience. A Master''s degree would be considered an asset. 3 to 5 years of related experience in policy analysis and development, or equivalent experience and knowledge in the regulated gaming industry. Demonstrated knowledge of gaming policy, responsible gambling, and/or the operations of government agencies. Expertise across multiple areas is considered an asset. Strong organizational and project management skills. Advanced analytical and research skills. Political acuity and interpersonal skills to engage, develop and maintain key internal and external stakeholder relationships. Ability to work in both a team environment and autonomously with minimal supervision. Excellent writing skills and ability to summarize complex concepts quickly, clearly, and concisely for audiences at all levels. The posting for this position is for an existing vacancy. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and will be subject to a criminal background check. iGaming Ontario has implemented a minimum four-day per week in-office schedule for this position and may implement a full return to office in 2026. The terms of iGaming Ontario''s Hybrid Work Policy are subject to change at any time, including its office location, the removal of the Hybrid Work Policy and a return to full-time in-office work.
