The Operations Analyst will be responsible for addressing inbound and outbound fulfillment of customer Affiliate Partner(s), Facility, and specialist enquiries relating to product knowledge, underwriting policies and procedures, External Finance and Insurance marketing opportunities. The successful candidate will have first- hand knowledge of Automotive retail sales (variable) and service/repair (fixed) operational strategies and practices. Additionally, the incumbent should be comfortable with adjudication and claiming flows for products such as Mechanical Breakdown Insurance/warranty, Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) products, as well as any other ancillary products sold through retail dealerships Core Competencies French/English bilingualism is a core requirement for this position Knowledge of Automotive/Powersport/recreational vehicle dealership Fixed Operations (required), and Variable Operational knowledge (an asset). MS Office efficiency CRM practices experience preferred Business to consumer (face to face) management (B2C) Business to Business management (B2B) A bachelor''s degree preferred, or at least 3-5 years'' experience working within a vehicle fixed and/or variable operational environment Working towards, or completion of an Automotive/Powersport/Recreational Service Technician Certificate of Qualification (Red Seal), 3-5 years'' practical experience working within a customer-facing Fixed Operational environment Strong mechanical logic-based aptitude, with the ability to separate fact from fiction Retail Automotive experience is required Mechanical Breakdown Insurance Policy/Vehicle Service Contract Underwriting/Mechanical Claims experience preferred but not required. Capable of working within a fast-paced environment when needed, with superior problem solving, and communication skills. Observe, understand, report, current trends within our core customer base (claiming habits, sales habits, sales trends, customer purchase cycling, etc.).
