We are seeking an experienced and passionate Front of House Manager to lead our service team, uphold exceptional standards, and foster memorable guest experiences. Position Summary The Front of House Manager is responsible for overseeing daily service operations, leading and developing the FOH team, and ensuring service standards align with the restaurant''s vision. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Key Responsibilities Service & Operations Lead and manage daily front-of-house operations during service Uphold and continuously improve service standards, practices, and guest experience Actively manage the floor during service, including opening and closing shifts Oversee reservations, seating flow, and guest pacing Handle guest concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and care Collect, review, and respond to guest feedback Team Leadership & Development Hire, onboard, train, and mentor front-of-house staff Create and manage staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and efficiency Lead pre-shift meetings and ongoing service training Foster a positive, professional, and accountable team culture Conduct performance feedback and support staff development Bar & Beverage Development Support bar operations and ongoing bar development Maintain beverage service standards Collaborate on wine, cocktail, and beverage offerings (where applicable) Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with regulations Administrative & Collaboration Work closely with ownership, kitchen leadership, and management team Support special events, private dining, and feature menus Assist with inventory awareness and cost-conscious service practices Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 23 years experience in a Front of House leadership or management role (fine dining or upscale casual preferred) Strong knowledge of service standards and hospitality best practices Wine knowledge and bar experience are a strong asset Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and guest recovery skills Must be available to work 5 days per week, including evenings and weekends Ability and willingness to close the restaurant ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Leadership role within a respected, established restaurant Health benefit program after 3-months with company Opportunity to contribute to service, beverage, and guest experience development Supportive ownership and collaborative team environment Staff dining perks and professional growth opportunities Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40,000.00 per year Benefits: Dental care Discounted or free food Extended health care Life insurance On-site gym On-site parking Work Location: In person
