Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Auto Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic testing (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical, etc.) Identify mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment Complete repairs and maintenance services including: Oil changes, brakes, tires, and alignments Suspension and steering repairs Cooling system repairs Battery, alternator, starter diagnostics/repair Engine performance and drivability concerns Carry out preventative maintenance according to manufacturer standards Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to shop quality standards Communicate findings clearly with the Service Advisor / Manager Keep workspace clean and follow health & safety procedures Assist with road tests when necessary to confirm concerns and verify repairs Requirements Proven experience as an Auto Service Technician or Automotive Mechanic Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Familiarity with scan tools and diagnostic equipment Valid driver''s license (G class preferred) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet Strong attention to detail and work ethic Preferred Qualifications 310S Automotive Service Technician License (Ontario) OR apprentice Experience with European vehicles (Mercedes/BMW/Audi) is an asset Knowledge of shop management software is an asset Own tools preferred What We Offer Competitive pay + performance opportunities Consistent work and steady hours Friendly and professional work environment Opportunity to grow in a busy shop Training and development (if apprentice) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $21.72-$42.26 per hour Experience: Automotive repair: 3 years (preferred) Licence/Certification: 310s (preferred) Work Location: In person
