Reporting to the Director, Corporate Marketing, the Manager, Corporate Events and Activations plays a pivotal role in shaping Toronto Pearsons brand experience through innovative corporate events, experiential marketing activations, and cultural partnerships. This position will partner with activation leaders in Customer Experience and Commercial to lead the design and execution of high-impact marketing led campaigns and activations that elevate the passenger experience and reinforce GTAAs transformation into a global leader in sustainable, passenger-focused airports. You will oversee the full lifecycle of events and activationsfrom concept development to flawless executionwhile collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless, on-brand experiences that align with GTAAs strategic objectives. Key responsibilities Provide direction and oversight for events, while leading the development and execution of brand marketing activations, tourism initiatives, cultural partnerships, and experiential campaigns that align with GTAAs brand objectives. You will ensure every initiative reflects GTAAs brand values and supports its transformation into a global leader in sustainable, passenger-focused airports. Own the end-to-end brand activation process, from concept development and creative briefing to vendor sourcing, contract negotiation, and flawless delivery. You will champion operational excellence and ensure activations meet strategic objectives while delighting stakeholders. Drive cross-functional collaboration, working closely with Marketing, Design, Media Relations, Commercial, and Customer Experience teams to create integrated campaigns that tell a cohesive brand story. You will also liaise with external agencies, production partners, and cultural organizations to amplify Pearsons presence and reputation. Manage budgets, timelines, and logistics for all marketing-led events and activations, applying strong project management discipline to deliver initiatives on time, within scope, and on budget. You will monitor performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement. In partnership with the Customer Experience team, cultivate cultural partnerships and in-terminal experiences that elevate Pearsons brand and engage diverse audiences. You will identify opportunities for collaboration with arts, tourism, and community organizations to create authentic, meaningful activations. Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability. You will coach team members, model GTAAs leadership competencies, and inspire confidence in delivering exceptional results. Represent GTAA externally, attending industry events, forums, and networking opportunities to build strategic relationships and stay ahead of emerging trends in experiential marketing and event innovation. This is the role for you, if you have 5+ years of experience in experiential marketing, brand partnerships, or event marketing, with a proven track record managing large-scale activations. Experience in budget management and contract negotiation. Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute flawlessly. A creative mindset and familiarity with emerging marketing trends and digital tools. Proficiency with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms. Advanced knowledge of experiential marketing best practices and stakeholder engagement strategies. A Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Masters degree preferred). Ability to obtain and retain a Transportation Security Clearance.
