Job Description

Position Title: Vice President, Exploration Location: Flexible (Ontario & Quebec with significant travel to field sites) Reports To: Chief Executive Officer Ore Group Company: Auriginal Mining Corp Position Summary The Vice President, Exploration is a senior executive responsible for the strategic leadership, technical direction, and operational execution of all mineral exploration and resource development activities. This role requires 1015 years of progressive, handson experience across the full exploration lifecyclefrom grassroots targeting through advancedstage resource definition and development support. The successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise in volcanichosted base metal and gold deposit environments, strong field credentials, and the ability to translate geological insight into valuecreating exploration programs. Fluency in both English and French is mandatory, enabling effective leadership across multilingual teams and jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Develop and execute the Companys exploration strategy in alignment with corporate objectives. Build and manage a balanced portfolio of grassroots, earlystage, and advanced exploration projects. Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new opportunities, including property acquisitions, joint ventures, and partnerships. Technical Oversight Provide authoritative geological leadership with a focus on volcanichosted base metal systems (e.g., VMSstyle environments). Design and oversee exploration programs including geophysics, geochemistry, drilling, and resource delineation. Ensure all technical work meets or exceeds industry best practices and regulatory standards (e.g., NI 43101 or equivalent). Review and approve exploration models, targets, budgets, and technical reports. Operational Management Lead multidisciplinary exploration teams, including geologists, technicians, and external consultants. Maintain a strong field presence, particularly during critical program phases. Manage exploration budgets, schedules, and risk, ensuring costeffective execution. Establish and enforce health, safety, environmental, and community engagement standards. Corporate and External Engagement Serve as the Companys senior technical spokesperson to investors, analysts, regulators, and partners. Support capital markets activities with clear, credible technical messaging. Collaborate closely with executive management on development planning, permitting, and project advancement. Qualifications and Experience Bachelors degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline; Masters degree or PhD preferred. 1015 years of practical, progressive experience in mineral exploration and development. Demonstrated success in volcanichosted base metal exploration, with direct field experience in relevant deposit environments. Proven track record of advancing projects from earlystage exploration through resource definition and development readiness. Strong understanding of modern exploration tools and methodologies, including geophysics, geochemistry, and drilling programs. Experience managing teams, budgets, and multijurisdictional projects. Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) is required. Professional designation (P.Geo., CPG, or equivalent) is an asset.
