Required Skills Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, Automation, Computing, Industrial Systems or related areas. Minimum good years of experience in architecture, engineering, or operational technology leadership in industrial or mining sectors. In-depth knowledge of OT systems: SCADA, DCS, PLC, RTU, IoT sensors, industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC UA, Profibus). Expertise in OT/IT integration, edge computing architectures, digital twins, advanced automation, predictive analytics and Industrial Big Data. Solid domain in OT cybersecurity, IEC 62443 frameworks, NIST, incident management and operational continuity. Knowledge in industrial cloud platforms (Azure IoT, AWS IoT, Google Cloud Industrial) and OT modernization. Experience with governance, regulatory compliance, sustainability and ESG standards in the mining and process industry. Fluent English for global communication and advanced Portuguese for Brazil-Canada work. Define, document and govern Vale''''s OT architectures, ensuring alignment between industrial systems, automation, IoT sensors and integration with IT and Cloud. Design solutions for real-time control, monitoring, automation and analysis of industrial processes, ensuring high availability and resilience. Lead modernization projects, edge/cloud OT integration, digital twins, predictive analytics, cognitive automation, and operational security. Assess and implement global OT security standards (NIST, IEC 62443), vulnerability management, and industrial cyber incident response. Foster alignment between OT and IT teams to promote secure, efficient, and scalable integration of operational technologies. Develop and maintain technical documentation, contingency plans, operational guides, and OT governance policies. Participate in the definition of strategies for technological innovation, sustainability and reduction of environmental impact. Collaborate with suppliers and strategic partners on critical OT solutions, ensuring system interoperability. Train technical teams and promote a culture of safety and OT innovation in Vale''''s global operations.
