We are recruiting an Account Director on behalf of a global enterprise software provider supporting the higher education and research sector. This role focuses on managing and growing a portfolio of existing customer accounts , primarily across Canada, with some responsibility for accounts in the United States and South Africa. It is well suited to someone who enjoys long-term relationship management, customer engagement, and sustainable account development. What youll be doing Manage and develop trusted relationships with key customer stakeholders Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts Support renewals and identify cross-sell opportunities aligned to customer needs Work closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure a consistent customer experience Contribute to tenders, pricing discussions, and proposals when required Participate in customer events, webinars, and user groups Maintain accurate account records and pipeline information using CRM tools What were looking for Experience in account management or customer-facing roles (SaaS, enterprise software, higher education, or research sectors preferred) Strong communication and relationship-building skills A practical, solutions-focused approach to account growth Comfortable working collaboratively across teams and time zones Experience using CRM systems Willingness to travel periodically for customer meetings and events French language skills are an asset Location & package Location: Toronto or surrounding area Salary: CAD $60,000 $85,000 base + quarterly commission Pension plan, extended health benefits, and 16 days paid vacation Occasional travel, including approximately two visits per year to the UK If youre interested in a relationshipled account role within a stable, international technology environment, wed like to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
