About The Role As a Food Safety and Quality Systems and Compliance Specialist, you will lead and support the development, execution and continuous improvement of programs to ensure compliance to the McCain Food Safety & Quality Management System and applicable external and regulatory standards. You will serve as the key administrative point of contact for digital quality systems, including document control, audit management, change management, and monthly KPI reporting. You will monitor compliance to standards and support corrective and preventive actions for continuous improvement. This is an existing vacancy for McCain which is actively seeking to be hired. What Youll Be Doing Systems Manage the document control, corrective and preventive action, and self inspection systems. Support system (i.e. Intelex, SAP) access and support requests at regional and site level. Train and coach others in the uses of McCain Quality Management Systems Oversee the documentation and record-keeping processes related to Food Safety and Quality compliance, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of records. Compile scorecard data monthly Support data analysis and reporting requests Support the change management process Perform other related duties as assigned. Coordinate annual audit plan. Includes scheduling of internal and external audits, compiling and sharing audit reports, managing timely payment of audit invoices, and ensuring organization of audit program documents. Coordinate regulatory registration process and regulatory visit tracking. Ensure compliance to routines for audit preparation and CAPA (corrective and preventive action) management for non-conformances. Prepare reports on compliance status, audit findings, corrective actions, and quality performance metrics, highlighting areas for improvement and recommending strategies for enhancing compliance performance. Work collaboratively with the compliance leads at the sites in North America. Support action plans to close compliance gaps and non-conformances. What Youll Need To Be Successful Bachelors degree in Food Science, Biological Sciences, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Basic Knowledge of food safety and quality systems, continuous improvement, and problem-solving. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Required Travel Estimated up to 15% Compensation Package $58,800.00 - $78,500.00 CAD annually + Bonus Eligibility. The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
