The Opportunity Lead with Vision As Technical Director, youll set the strategic direction for monitoring and instrumentation across WSP, driving innovation and technical excellence on complex, multidisciplinary projects. This is a leadership role where youll shape the vision, mentor highperforming teams, and represent WSP as a thought leader in the industry. Your Impact Define and implement the strategic vision for monitoring and instrumentation, aligning with organizational goals and industry trends. Oversee design, deployment, and management of advanced instrumentation systems for largescale projects. Establish technical standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes. Provide expert guidance on complex challenges, risk management, and troubleshooting. Foster innovation by integrating emerging technologies and methodologies. Build, mentor, and lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring succession planning and professional development. Represent WSP in highlevel client engagements, industry forums, and technical conferences. Oversee major proposals, project plans, and technical reports to ensure excellence and compliance. The Skills That Set You Apart Advanced degree (Masters or PhD preferred) in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline. 15+ years of progressive experience in instrumentation and monitoring, with significant leadership responsibilities. Recognized expertise in complex monitoring systems and technical innovation. Proven ability to lead large teams and manage multiple concurrent projects. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or equivalent. Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, resource planning, and client relationship management. Compensation BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $177,000 $234,400 MB & ON: $161,500 $222,300 Atlantic Provinces & QC: $159,900 $212,300 Disclosure The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
