What is the opportunity? The Director, Youth and Young Adult (YYA) Client Segment Strategy role at RBC offers a transformative opportunity to shape the future of banking for young Canadians. By driving innovative strategies and products tailored to students and young professionals, this role will empower a new generation to achieve financial wellness while fueling RBCs growth as a leader in youth financial services. What will you do? Champion the YYA vision by developing forward-thinking strategies for young Canadians. Drive growth and loyalty through acquisition, retention, and engagement initiatives across teams. Elevate the client experience by reimagining how young Canadians interact with RBC. Collaborate across RBC to support Personal Banking strategic goals. Manage the day-to-day YYA product portfolio. Translate CX and data insights into actionable plans tied to segment OKRs and business goals. Lead market analysis to assess RBCs competitiveness against banks and fintechs. Partner with teams to transform RBCs digital presence and go-to-market strategies. What do you need to succeed? Must have: Client Focus: Passion for customer experiences and empathy-driven solutions. Data & Strategy: Ability to analyze insights and develop actionable strategies. Product Knowledge: Experience with product constructs, digital tools, and business models. Business Acumen: Strong decision-making and benefits-case development skills. Collaboration: Excellent communication, culture-building, and teamwork abilities. Resilience: Adaptability in navigating ambiguous or evolving spaces. University degree/MBA or related work experience. Nice to have: Curiosity about emerging trends in banking, AI and technology. Understanding of RBCs digital initiative prioritization and delivery processes. Experience with go-to-market strategies across large organizations.
