This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a minimum of two (2) years experience in supply chain who is looking to expand their skills by gaining handson exposure across an endtoend supply chain role. This role is based on site at our Mississauga location. About the Role The Supply Chain Coordinator handles a wide range of endtoend supply chain responsibilities to ensure the smooth functioning of the department. You need excellent communication skills and the ability to function well in a role that requires autonomy and initiative. You have excellent organizational and administrative skills and can balance multiple priorities. This position regularly interacts with all departments, including senior management, and requires someone with high integrity and discretion. Does it sound like the right job for you so far? Order Desk Management Receive, process, post and invoice customer orders Coordinate with 3PL warehouses to ship customer orders within established timelines and verify accuracy of shipments Answer customer queries and develop relationships where possible Planning, Production and Purchasing Raise purchase orders for raw materials, packaging material, packaging services and finished goods Maintain a database of open POs, vendor confirmations and ETA dates Maintain regular contact with suppliers on delivery schedules Organize and coordinate inbound and outbound freight (obtaining quotes, preparing shipping documents, and tracking shipments) Post purchase order receipts and invoices into the ERP system and prepare associated document packages for QA and Finance Identify and reconcile purchase receipt variances Assist with internal production planning and forecasting Communicate forecast schedules with suppliers Organize production schedules with suppliers to meet our needs Inventory Management Maintain inventory levels to internal standards Maintain the Production Lot reports, monitor inventory and complete regular valuation of wastage and obsolescence Monitor price changes and ensure accurate cost of inventory Assist in maintaining a supplier cost database for use in forecasting cost of goods sold Coordinate monthly inventory reconciliations, investigate variances and post adjustments in the ERP system Coordinate intercompany inventory transfers Coordinate with Quality Assurance on the release of finished goods Other Review supply chain related invoices, gather back up, and submit for approval Monthend closing tasks as assigned Perform other related duties and responsibilities, as assigned Dependable team player with ability to work autonomously Take initiative and be proactive Strong teamwork and communication skills to work with internal and external teams Specialization in Supply Chain Management considered an asset Experience in Quality Assurance would be considered an asset Experience with Sage ERP and EDI considered an asset. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel intermediate level, Word, Power Point and Outlook) Strong attention to detail and accuracy of results Excellent problemsolving skills, superior organizational skills and drive for continuous improvement Strong interpersonal skills Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects and priorities Minimum of 2 years of Supply Chain experience Bachelors degree is preferred How We Hire & Compensation At BioSyent, we do not use AI to screen applications or select candidates for interviews.
